There will be a boat riding tour from Potsdam to Berlin on Sep. 19th in
the afternoon. The tour will include famous tourist places such as the historical
center with the “Reichstag” and the new governmental buildings
along the river Spree. Individual excursions according to special topics
can be organized afterwards. Such topics can be “New architecture
in Berlin” or “The Jewish Berlin”. Information will be
provided at the conference. Of course, people can also just enjoy the exciting
street life in Berlin.
In the evening, the participants of SoA5 are invited to join the Social
Dinner in a restaurant situated in the Humboldt University Berlin in the
heart of the former East-Berlin near the Brandenburg Gate.
